iClick Interactive (“iClick”), the leading digital buy-side platform in Asia, is pleased to announce its cooperation with AngelHack, one of the world’s largest hackathon organizers, to support its debut hackathon in Beijing on 7th and 8th December, 2013. iClick values innovation as an essential element in boosting digital marketing performance and sees AngelHack as an unique opportunity to unify the developer community and to foster innovative ideas.
AngelHack specializes in hackathons and innovation events and has thrown over 100 events in 35 cities operating in 25 countries. AngelHack’s global hackathon series – AppHACK, focuses on building mobile applications as well as educating developers on new technology platforms and tools. AppHACK has established presence around the globe and successfully gathered over 5,000 hackers and generated more than 1,500 mobile app ideas. This year marks another milestone for AppHACK as it is brought to live in Beijing for the first time. Developers, designers, entrepreneurs and even influencers from Silicon Valley will gather in Beijing and engage in a fun and intensive 24-hour hackathon session to build inspiring and usable mobile-based concepts and prototypes. The winning team will then participate in the HACKcelerator mentorship program, which is designed to help top hackathon teams turn their hacks into market ready products and a platform for connecting with amazing mentors as well as series of events in Silicon Valley to connect investors and media.
Established as the pioneer in digital marketing innovation, iClick continues to inspire and encourage developers to accelerate innovation both internally and externally. Max Zhang, Chief Data Scientist of iClick, will be part of the panel judges that is formed by a group of veterans in the industry including Josh Constine, Writer at TechCrunch, Andy Manoske, Associate at GGV Capital, Bo Zhang, Product Lead, APAC Platform Partnership at Facebook and Greg Gopman, Founder & CEO at AngelHack; “We are very pleased to join hands with AngelHack to bring this global event to Beijing. iClick believes that innovation and technology are the game changers to the digital marketing space.
