Standard Chartered Bank has taken mobile advert¬ising in Hong Kong to new heights by launching a two-part series microfilm exclusively on the mobile platform and exclusively on Mobile by Pixel Media. This marks the first time a major bank in Hong Kong has embarked on such an initiative.
Premiering exclusively on now.com News iPhone App, the two microfilms are 45 seconds in length each and feature two characters discussing their personal lives and how services from Standard Chartered Bank can help enhance them.
To drive awareness of these videos, mobile banner ads were placed on the now.com News iPhone App. The Video is user-initiated and launches via the native video application from a user’s smartphone.
