IGM Mobile Sdn Bhd launches new service in Malaysia – Frenclub, a mobile chat service allowing users to make friends and chat via SMS. In March 2006, IGM Mobile has launched this service with Maxis. The service is subsequently expanded to Celcom & DiGi on September 2006. IGM Mobile has introduced the 1st inter-operator chat service in Malaysia, allowing its members to chat and make friends across 3 mobile operators. With the active participation of 3 major mobile operators in Malaysia, Frenclub is now the leading mobile chat service provider in Malaysia with over 180,000 customers.
IGM Mobile has also launched this service with Sun Cellular in Philippines on November 2006 as part of their regional expansion
